This shot was scouted the day before to see where the sun would come up and the tarmac was marked with tape. The next morning the aircraft were moved into position in the dark using the headlights from our cars. The airport fire department then hosed under the aircraft all the way to the camera. Fires in Montana gave us the great sunrise.
